Reincarnation of the Perfumes!!

Some of the perfume has been reincarnate  from the old classic notes ,smell and  bottle to the newest refreshes notes by the designers.

In this entry I would like to show you some of the designer perfume from  old classic version  to the modernizes version.

They 're Different !

Often people think it's just one dessert but with different spellings. But they actually different types of dessert. Stop offending your palate tickers and get to know them!

 Macaroons & Macarons 

This would be the biggest dessert misconception of all time. Macaroons are small meringue -like cookies that actually contain coconut or almonds. 

While macarons are also meringue-like cookies but they sandwiched together with various fillings. 

Sherbet & Sorbet

Sherbet is a frozen fruit dessert that is made with milk,egg white, sugar and fruits.

A Sorbet  on the other hand is a dessert made with the same ingredients but minus the dairy product.

Say It Right!

Tongue-tied when it comes to pronouncing the names of the devilish desserts? Just say it like we do and you'll be as articulates as a French pastry chef in no time!! ewaahh...

1. Crepe (kr-p)
Starts with a "cre" like the "cra" in crayon and ends with "ape".

What 's it?
Crepes are very tin ad small french pancakes! or the in famous now durian crepe/durian pancakes!

2. Baklava ( ba-kl-va).
Start with a quick "bak" and end with "lava" just like the volcanic one.

What's it?
Baklavas are made of layers of buttered flaky pastry sheet that contain honey and nut spread in the inside.

3. Eclair (ay/klehr)
Starts with a stressed E and end with klehr.



What 's it?
An eclair is a dough that is filled with cream and topped with yummy icing.

4. Meringue (m-r-ng)
Starts with a "me" like in mermaid and ends with a "rang" like the past tense of "ring"

What's it?
A merigue is apastry shell or cake that is made of stiffly beaten eggs whites and sugar. 

5. Nougat (noo-guht)
Starts with a "noo" like the "noo" in noodle and ends with a "gat" like the "got" in "bigot"

What's it?
Nougats are chewy candies that contain nuts and sometimes fruits.

6. Parfait (pahr-fey)
Starts with a "par" in party and end with a "fey" like "fa" in favourite.



What's it?
A combination of ice-cream and fruits in layers topped with whipped cream.

7. Souffle ( su-fle)
Starts with "sou" like the "sou" in soup and ends with "ffle" like the word "flay"

What's it?
It's a classic french dish or whipped egg whites combined with base and then baked.

8. Zabaglione (zah-buh -yoh-nee)
Starts with "zah" like the za in Zara followed by a "buh" like the "ba " in the basket, and a "yoh" like "yo" in yo-yo and ends with a "nee" like the word neigh.

What's it?
A simple Ittalian custard dessert served with sliced fruits.

9. Scone
There are two ways to pronounce scone; "Skon" and "Skoan".

What's it?  
A scone is a single-serving cake or quick bread, originally hailing from Scotland. They are usually made of wheat, barley or oatmeal, with baking powder as a leavening agent, and are baked on sheet pans. They are often lightly sweetened and are occasionally glazed. (wikipedia)
