Review : Sephora.my ( My first purchase )

Today I am going to review my first purchase from the Sephora.my ( formerly known as Luxola.com )

Ok.. I've been not buying anything from Sephora.my since ( Luxola became Sephora ), I told you before that I am quite disappointed with the increasing of the pricetag and watsnot at Sephora.my but I still gave them a chance for a little reason that they still gave a few sale items ( from their old stocks perhaps! or maybe a few stuffs at Sephora boutique near me is always and always out of stocks!!! )

Anyway, I just ordered 2 items .

1. Tarte tarteist lip paint ( lovespell ) - I accidently chosed the wrong shades again fukss!! - RM83
2. Fresh Sugar Lychee ( roller perfume ) rm36 -to stock up my Brown sugar ( normally they sell about RM99 )

I ordered the items on... 27th April 2016...
They shipped the items through Aramax on 29th April 2016


and today I received the item ( through Gdecx) - 10th May..

It took about almost 2 weeks. Pretty long...though...

Anyway, the packaging is still the same (like what I received from Luxola - againn )
I got free nipple lip balm .. haha...

Nothing much to say. I still waiting for my next order to be arrived. Till then...

VS Such A Flirt - Flowerie scent not sweet tho

My perfume collection: Types according to the scents!

Hey peeps! I just noticed lately I've been neglecting again and again my blog. Fuhuuu.. Anyways, i just like to share again my perfumes and point of view on when I normally used it/ according to the scents.

1. Sweet / girly scents :

 Britney Spears (Midnight fantasy), Lady Gaga (The Fame ) , Katy Perry (Purr) , Juicy Couture (Viva La Juicy)

These category I would normally  use it in a day time.

2. Fresh / Citrusy Types scents

Moschino I love love , Benefit (Maybe Baby) , Lanvin (Marry Me)

My husband loves these types of perfumes.... and among these three I love the Moshino ones!

3. Special / Oriental Floral/Fruity scents

Lolita Lempica , Guerlain La Petite Robe Noir,  Van Cleef & Arpel (Oriens) , Chanel (Chance)

These would be the special perfumes i would use on the special occasions

4. Floral scents.

Review : Guerlain La Petite Robe Noir edt

I bought this perfume at Sephora a few weeks ago. This would be one of my latest perfume in my collection. Hmm I don't really know why should I bought this perfume. Hee perhaps it's Guerlain. I love it's scent. It's merely like a condensed milk sweet fruity type of scent! Haha~ I am very bad of describing perfume , am i? It's not too overpowering, just nice to wear and normally I wear it when I was going out with my husband.

 

Guerlain La Petite Robe Noir edt

Inspired by the elegance and eternity of a little black dress, the perfume exudes Parisian chic and gracefulness. It opens with playful and sparkling aromas of black cherry, bergamot, red berries and almond. Bulgarian and Turkish roses rule the heart, further developing with notes of licorice and smoked black tea. Aniseed, tonka bean, vanilla, iris and patchouli form the base. (Fragrantica.com)

Staying power is good on me. Overall it's sweet nice fragrance.

Review : Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture EDP

Hey peeps!

I'm going to review another perfume by the designer of Juicy Couture called Viva La Juicy.

The perfume Viva la Juicy was presented as a gourmet floral fragrance, which opens with notes of wild berries and juicy mandarin. The heart encompasses a floral blend of honeysuckle, gardenia and jasmine, while the base notes await us with a gourmet rhapsody of amber, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood and pralines.- Fragrantica

Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture EDP ( 100ML)

Obviously I bought the perfume just for the sake of the bottle. It features a weighty feel glass bottle with a beautiful pink bow wrapped around the neck of the topper. It pinned to the bow is two juicy charms. A golden 'J' and the word 'couture' in bubbly letters. In a nutshell, it's an absolutely stunning bottle covered in tasteful and thoughtfully placed juicy charms. Luxurious look definitely.

And how about the scent? It has a girly type of scent, lots of sweet, vaguely fruity scent to me nothing too special and unique about it. It 's wearable perfume day or night. It actually very similar to Katy Perry perfume called 'MEow'. the open notes almost-almost the same with Meow but the middle and base note is differ.The lasting power on me is around 3 to 4 hours.

Top 5 dislikes perfume!

1. Lancome Hypnose - to me it smell like bugs spray! erks!

2. Tommy Girl - eventhoughh i used to own once but I never had a change to finish it because it 's too overpowering. *pening*

3. DKNY Be Delicious ( only the green apple) - againnn to muchhh consuming the green scent.. again make me headache.

4. Kenzo Flower - it's good for other but not to me, perhaps.

5. Lancome - Trezor - the original one.. bitter scent again not for me.

Review : Maybe Baby by Benefit

Back with another review of perfume. And today I'm going to review a very nice simple yet lasting fragrance by Benefit called "Maybe Baby". I actually bought this perfume a few years ago at Benefit counter in KLCC , if I'm not mistaken. The biggest bottle is 100 ml (which is in different shape) but I only bought 50ml.

Maybe Baby : Top notes: apricot and white ginger; Middle notes: water blossoms, lychee, bergamont; Base notes: white musk and warm peach.(source: here)

This perfume is fresh, girly young and happy kinda of scent. It's not heavy type  of  scent and suitable for a day time use but still wearable at night. The lasting power was great even though it is only edt . Simple bottle nothing fancy about it. Overall it's okay fragrance and nice to have.  ;)

Review : Sensuous Nude by Estee Lauder

I bought this perfume a few months ago at Aeon Jusco in the Estee Lauder counter. I also got a few samples of foundation and lipstick from Estee Lauder. Yeah thanks to the very nice promoter. Huhu

Sensuous Nude by Estee Lauder 50ml (edp)

According to Fragrantica.com this perfume is :

Composition of the new editions opens with a luminous citrusy blend of Sicilian bergamot and mandarin spiced with bitterish and insolent trace of black and pink pepper. After the spicy citrusy-bitter start, the composition develops with floral nuances composed of jasmine petals and lily of the valley, refreshed with gentle exotic aromas of coconut water and sweetened honey drops and sensual musk veil. Verdict : 

Overall, i do like this perfume it's really suitable for work. It has type of powderly flowery and clean scent which I like. Even-though it is edp but it didnt last pretty long to me. But it's a simple and nice fragrance after all not sweet but okay ;)

Review : Chance by Chanel

Chanel is one of my favorite designer perfume. I must said everything from Chanel line perfume was really unique, luxurious and incomparable to other perfume in the market.

Chance in French means 'luck'. Chanel and Chance sound so similar as if they were created for each other. 
'Chance is a tornado… the door open to adventure and unknown, just like lips ready for a kiss.'

There are pink pepper, lemon and pine apple in the top notes. The heart encompasses hyacinth, jasmine and iris, while the base is composed of amber, patchouli, vetiver and white musk. The perfume was created by Jacques Polge in 2003.(fragrantica.com)

Chanel Chance 50 ml edp

Verdict:
 To me, Chanel Chance is more sweeter warm and classic and young fragrance. It's suitable for young or even middle age people. . A little of Chance goes along way. It has a great lasting power up till 6 hours depending on, I reckoned. But one thing bad about it is the price! ouchhh expensive! yikeess of cost it's Chanel , right? *grinned*

Review : Addict 2 by Dior

Oh I love this perfume. It has the sentimental value init. And of cos it's remind me about my engagement day. My fiance (now is my husband) gave me during that day (as a hantaran of cos) and see i still got merely half of it. It actually comes with the body lotion, beauty pouch (dior ) and the perfume itself. ;)

According to the fragrantica.com the notes of Dior Addict 2 :

Top notes : Orange, freesia, grapefruits and bergamot

Middle notes : pineapple, promaganete , lily of the valey , watermelon and lotus

Base notes : sandalwood, chedar and white musk

it has no cap just twist the knob from 0 to 1 and spritz to go!

Verdict :

I love this freshly floral type of perfume. Lasting power is up to 3 hours. Like!like! ;)
