Review : Loreal Mat Magique 12 Hours Bright Mat Foundation

Hi peeps!

So harini I nak buat quick review about another foundation. Sebenarnya foundation ni I dah guna 3 bulan kot. I love to use this foundation at work sebab tahan gila. Kadang memang keje takda masa nak touchup touch up pun. And so far kalau pakai foundation ni dari pukul 6.45am sampai pukul 6pm foundation tu still ada kat muka (minyak je takleh bendung ).

Anyway. So this is Loreal Mat Magique 12 Hours Bright Mat Foundation. Dia dalam bentuk tube so takda la pump. Korang ke squeeze to get the product.

So this is another mate foundation yang I suka. Actually dia takdalah matte sangat sampai muka kering. Kering tu sebab korang tak pakai enough moisturiser kat dalam, so underneath your skin tu jadi kering.

Texture dia macam creamy skit but easy to blend.  Lepas pakai muka nampak bright sikit but not ashy bright.

Overall me likey!!

Review : Urban Decay All Nighter Liquid Foundation ( 6.5)

Okay lama tak review about liquid foundation. Lately I macam giler nak try liquid foundation so I bought a few. Happy sebab dulu I macam tak reti the proper way to blend the liquid foundation so I prefer pakai compact powder but now maybe sebab trend and byk tool yang senang guna untuk apply liquid foundation seperti beauty blender , so result memamg seemlessly and cantik atas face.

Anyway, harini I nak review pasal Urban Decay All Nighter Liquid Foundation. I beli pun sebab I baca a lot of good review pasal foundation ni sesuai untuk kulit berminyak ( I kulit combination but oily on the T zone) . I beli pun on Black Friday Sale so dapat 20 % discount.

And to start, I really love the packaging. Cantik je kan. It's remind me of KVD Tatoo foundation. I'm in the shade 6.5. (kalau yang naked to 7.0 ). I amik one tone lighter sebab banyak review cakap foundation ni cepat oxcidize. So colour dia macam agak lighter sket.  This foundation memang output dia very matte so if korang jenis suka dewy finish boleh la letak banyak highligher.

my verdict :

First I pakai this foundation I memang frust giler. My skin nampak macam kering and dia emphasize my pores kat bahagian hidung. Rupanya I salah. and I dont give up sama macam first time I pakai TF Born This Way. Masa first I pakai the All Nighter I pakai brush biasa ( Real Technique Expert Face Brush - if I am not mistaken ) so output dia menyedihkan. Maybe the way I apply salah. I dont apply with beauty blender . But I dont give up.I try again this foundation. I prep my face with sunblock je , I dont apply primer lepas tu I guna Zoeva 125 Stippling Brush.

Only one pump of the foundation and you done! complete untuk semua muka. I dont use buffing technique but just stipple je kat muka. (Boleh tengok tutorial Syed Dewa guna dalam tutorial dia guna Urban Decay) 

Overall, I suka this foundation. Because normally I go for dewy finish punya foundation and I have to set with loose powder lepas tu. But guna Urban Decay All Nighter ni I tak set dengan powder pun.

Review : Laneige Pore Deep Clearing Foam

I actually bought this cleanser because it is so cheap at The Altea website. I think about RM50 (if I am not mistaken ). I wanted to try this brand for quite so long. And finally i give a try to their cleanser and their top selling sleeping mask.

Based on their website, Laneign claim that this cleanser :

"Mild foaming cleanser that cleans the pores with its rich lather and suppresses excess sebum

• The rich lather reaches deep into the pores while removing impurities from skin's surface, helping you achieve clean and shine-free skin.
• Contains Moroccan clay ghassoul, which works as a micro-abrasive that's good for cleaning skin and keeping the pores free of impurities
• Contains Pore Purifying Complex that removes impurities lodged around the pores, preventing breakouts at the source.

To my verdict :

 I love this cleanser.  It turn to be a creamy foamy texture when you mix it with water and massage to your skin.

I love how my skin feel after clean my face. My skin look a lil bit brighten and  really clean. I normally use this cleanser after i remove my make up with the makeup remover.  And what I noticed most that it's open up my pores a bit so it is crucial for me to apply toner afterward or any serum to close back my open pores. The cleanser also remove extra oil on my skin without my skin feeling dry or tighten. Overall I love this cleanser .

Review : Kiehl's Iris Extract Activiting Treatment Essence

Finally I've got a chance to make a quick review about this Kiehl's Extract Activiting Treatment Essence. 

This essence comes with a twist open cap to reveal a small rift opening that dispenses the treatment essence. This essence reminded me about the SKII essence but the SKII essence is quite lighter in texture and easily to absorb compared to this essence. I think this essence is quice similar to Estee Lauder Micro Essence. It has thicker than water consistency but absorbed into the skin leaving no residue which is great.

I love the light scent from this essence compared to SKII essence ( which smell abit meh for me )


Anyway, according to Kiehls this essence ;

Reactivates Skin’s Youthful Look for Smoother, Radiant Skin Unique, velvety liquid concentrate delivers anti-aging and hydrating ingredients to skin’s surface layers With Iris Florentina Root Extract, known for its deeply nourishing and anti-aging benefits to skin With Lipo Hydroxy Acid (LHA) to activate skin’s natural exfoliation process and Sodium Hyaluronate to replenish skin and smooth fine lines Visibly improves the appearance of fine lines, dullness, and rough texture over time Your essential “first step” anti-aging treatment to maintain skin’s youthful texture, reduce fine lines, and activate radiance

How I use it ?

After cleansing and toning, I use a few drops of this treatment essence into my palms, spread them together and gently press all over my face and neck. You can pat until it is all absorbed otherwise just let it soak into the skin then apply the usual serum and moisturiser.



Overall ( the verdict) ; Been using for more than 4 weeks.

I love this essence. It makes my skin feel hydrates, soft and maybe a lil bit brighter ( I dont know because I also use other product for brightening)

REVIEW : COLOURPOP ULTRA SATIN LIP (TANSY)

Today I am going to review Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip  in (Tansy) . I like this formula better than matte formula because it is too drying on the lips but left the matte effect perfectly.

The packaging is similar to the ultra matte formula. It has highly pigmented liquidy and easily to apply on my lips.

Colour ? I kinda like this colour. It is light brownish undertone and just perfect for me. It is not too dark so I can also wear it at work.

Overall, me love!

Review : NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream ( Addis Ababa)

It's been ages since my last purchases of Nyx lippies. I stopped buying because I stopped being a collectors of lippies but, again i repurchase this brand and bought a few lipstick ( i dont collect them actually,i just bought them because I wanted to test/ try different formula of lipstick). I dont have numbers of smlc because i dont really like the formula. it just ok to me.


 I only have this colour to review. This NYX SLMC is not that matte compared to other liquid matte lipstick. It's more like mousy creamy type of formula abit moisturising and not drying your lips.

Staying power - it will disappered if you eat or drink. But the best part about this SLMC i love to layer this lippie on the top of non-matte lipstick to make it matte.

I bought this SLMC in sephora, you can get it easily at ig or other preorder but please be ensured it is authentic.

I chosed this color because I am loyal!Heh no ,,,I love this colour. It is red bold color not too bright and not too dark which is suitable for my skin colour and also brighten my complexion without making my teeth yellow.

I definitely love the texture of this liquid lipstick. It has light creamy texture and easily to apply. It has vanilla minty scent that did not distract me and I kinda like it. It is long wearin of cos. Dry not so quick but it doesnt feel too dry. It is long wearing and it will not melting when I eat any mee goreng or burger..which is a plus point for me.

The packing. You know how I love the balm packing which is kinda cute. I bought it for 20% off because I also bought another item. Sasa is having 10 % discount and 20% discount if you buy second items which is a great steal with a good quality of liquid lipstick.

Review : Velvet Vanity Liquid Matte Lipsticks ( Slamberry)

Lately, I cant help myself to buy different types of matte liquid lipsticks in the market. I've tried a few of them . I love the bold colour because it is so hard for me to find a good nude colour that really suit my skintones. and in my age I think, the bold colour suit me well and I feel confident everytime I wear them.

Today I am going to review:

1. Velvet Vanity Cosmetics - Liquid matte lipstick in Slamberry.

It is based in Malaysia, which I quite impressed. It comes with a box with a note when you received it. Like this :

This liquid lipstick is not that bold and not that nude. It is quite hard for me to describe the colour. It is more like a peachy,pinky nude type of color. The color turn to be a bit lighter when I wear it compared to this swatches.

I love the texture of this liquid lipstick. It's like mousy creamy type of liquid lipstick and easily to apply. It dry not that fast.. and it's long lasting. Except you need to becareful if you eat  burger or oily food, the lipstick will melting a bit  below your lips.

The packaging is sleek but I have problem with the cap. The black cap detached from the white cap. Maybe because the glue is not that strong enough to hold the cap. (-_-)

But overall, I love this liquid lipstick.

Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish - Wine & Dine

Heyy!

I just addicted to buy Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish. I have several colors and here is in the color 005 (Wine & Dine )

Again it is in deep purle colour with shimmer which is so beautiful. I have to layer it twice to get the same exact color with what you see at the bottle. It is easy to apply .

Love it!

Review : Kiehl's Clearly Corrective White Purifying Foaming Cleanser.

Hi everyone!

It is the last working day of the week (not forme) and it is Friday. I would like to make another review since I already told you that I love this foaming cleanser in my previous post - skincare routine.

So here it is my favourite ....

Kiehl's Clearly Corrective White Purifying Foaming Cleanser. (omg watalongname..)


I love this Brand. I have tried this brand since it was first launched in Malaysia a few years back. (You know I quite loyal to this brand) and I had tried many stuff from this range and other range from this brand, and suprisingly most of  them suits my skin well. Anyway, today I am going to review the foaming cleanser that they got from the brightening range.

Frankly, I dont really splurge on the cleanser much. But, i did notice or differentiate the different what normally the high end cleanser can do compared to the drugstore cleanser (most of the time). But, maybe it also depends on what brand I chosed and what it actually do on the skin at the same time.

Let's talk about this foaming cleanser.

What it actually did on my skin???

- It cleaned my skin really well which is love. It spread amazingly on the face with so less quantity required. It leaves my skin really very soft and fresh. No stretchy feel at all.
- I love the feel of the cleanser on my skin. it is so creamy and luxurious. It cointains peony and birch extract and no harmful ingredients such as paraben, sls or colorants.
 - As in terms of brightening,  I cannot really comment on that as I don’t feel any face wash can brighten your skin! But yes my skin is definitely clean, a little brightened (but temporary) and really soft!
- Dermatologically tested.
- The only cons is- it is quite pricey.
- Overall, love it!

Here's another review of the week.  Being too rajin to update lately. So this is ....

Cellnique Body Plush Velvetly Veil .

I cant really describe the texture of it.. a cream type or lotion type or the combination of both of it. I actually got this stuffs for free when I first signup for the member of Cress Wellness. I've been not using it for a few months because I have a lot of lotion, cream or bodybutter but lately, I come back for this.

First of all let me describe what Cellnique claimed it to be :

"Inebriate your senses with an inrush of citrus magnificent and envelop your skin with gossamer of velvelty luxuriance. Exceptionally nourishing ingredients are loaded to caress the skin with extra protective shield while taming the harsh air -conditioning enviroment. This lush potion leaves skin soft and smooth with no oily traces

And to me.. and what I love and agreed with the statement above is I love the citrus scents in this product. I love the texture of this product (not too thick). I do agreed its helped a lot with the skin that expose to air-condition (especially nowadays is too hot and I need air condition to survive , hence my skin is quite dry in certain area).  It is not oily is to love. Overall, what they claimed is almost the same to what I get in this product. Except I dont feel luxurioos  when I apply this product maybe I got it for free.  ;)

I dont know where you get this product (maybe you can signup with Cress or Cellnique branch and look for this stuffs) or maybe you can check this stuff at Hermo if it is available.

It's purple and I'm loving it.

You know I love everything about pedi and medicure.

and I love to wear nail polish. Issit it pretty.. especially this color.
He said that this color really suit my skin tone. ;)


I wanna grab more colors from this Maybelline Colorshow cos it's only cost me around rm10 ish... yea! it's a steal..

Current Favourite Syampoo..

Today I am going to review about my current favourite shampoos. . F.YI I dont use one syampoo, I have three shampoos that I'm using alternately. Please take note that the product that I am reviewing might suitable for me or might or might not suitable for other person, right?

I have oily scalp and sometimes get itchy. 

So here... three shampoos that I love to bits ( I have another favourite which is from Lakme, but it has finished. so I am not going to review it)

1. The number one is by Loreal , instant clear pure expert shampoo.

- I love the scent of this shampoo which is so refreshing.
- It has kinda creamy liquidy so I dont have to use much for the hair.
- It is in a small bottle which kinda cute and easy to hold.
- I love the feel of my hair after use this shampoo, it kinda clear my oily scalp for a few days and clear my dandruff.

2. Karastase Specifique Vain Divalent...

- The scent of this shampoo reminds me of my all time favourite Lakme syampoo.

- I love this shampoo, again I love the feel of my hair after using it.

- But it's kinda pricey thoo..

3. Happy & Heavenly 

- This shampooo is soooo perfumely which I love.

- The scent still on my hair after shampooing so I dont have to use any other spray oil to make ny hair smell good after using this shampoo. 

- It is so darn cheap and I love the design and color of this bottle.

Philosophy Purity Made Simple.

I've been wanting to try this for so long...
And to my surprise Philosophy is already in Malaysia (damn! i just notice it in Sephora), eventhough there are quite limited choice for body wash. But I've a chance to grab this liquid facial wash. I was comtemplating between the microdermabrasion type and this, but finally I decided to try this.

Review : SKII Skin Signature 3D Redefining Mask

This would be the most amazing mask I've ever tried and of cos it is an expensive mask tho...I got it together with my steampower kit.

The essence from this mask is milky type and kinda thick. I used it for 30-45 minutes before I removed it and the balance from the sheet i use on my neck and chest..save it until the last drop tho. :)

Then , I would apply my FTE followed with my steampower cream..

This mask is totally awesome, I can see the different on my skin brightening instantly after I used it. But , yeh it is not a cheap product..but yeh it is a good product!!

Review : NARS Sheer Glow Liquid Foundation ( Med Dark 2)

I did some short view about this product on my previous entry if I'm not mistaken . Plus, I also did a few short comparison between my MAC Studio Fix Fluid.

Well, honestly I do love this liquid foundation. It has no spf compared to MAC Studio Fix Fluid so it will look great on photo . In term of the texture ; the texture is kinda runny compared to MAC but  it quite easily blend to the skin.

The color which i chosed is medium dark 2, which kinda dark and yellowish but the best thing it does not oxidize and at the end of the day the color turn to be exactly like my skintone .It also leaving my skin dewy without being overly greasy looking.

It stay quite long on my skin which was perfect. The coverage is medium to full coverage .

The only thing that bother me is the foundation does not comes with pump. I had to pay extra RM20 for the pump and normally the pump is always out of stock.

Overall I love this...yeaa!!

Review : Sleek Cream to Powder Foundation (Bamboo)

Hooo finally I manage to make a quick review about this foundation. I was quite skeptical about cream to powder foundation actually because I  have had a bad impression to my previous cream foundation (Revlon & Bobbi Brown ). But to my surprise this Sleek Cream to Powder foundation was totally different.

It wont make my face look oily and it wont stained on the scarf  which was great and I was quite shocked tho.

The color which I choosed was bambo, it suit my skin tone and actually it also brighten my complexion . 

The only thing I detest about this foundation is the packaging and also the sponge. I dont use the sponge because it smells slightly plasticty and rubberry.. I prefer to use my hand and it glides smoothly and easily on my skin.

Overall, I do love the texture and it stays well on my skin which to love :)
