REVIEW : COLOURPOP ULTRA SATIN LIP (TANSY)

Today I am going to review Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip  in (Tansy) . I like this formula better than matte formula because it is too drying on the lips but left the matte effect perfectly.

The packaging is similar to the ultra matte formula. It has highly pigmented liquidy and easily to apply on my lips.

Colour ? I kinda like this colour. It is light brownish undertone and just perfect for me. It is not too dark so I can also wear it at work.

Overall, me love!

I've been not buying on any blush for many years. The last purchase was the trio (highlighter, bronzing & blush ) from Sleek. But yesterday, I bought a new blush again.  It was from Urban Decay. I wanted to purchase indecents but the colour is too light for me, so I choose Crush.


It was RM98 but i have 10% discount.

December Collective Haul

It just 14th of December and I already did the collective haul video because I tried to promise myself from not making another splurge. LOL... well, hope so. However I have another thing coming from HopSHopGo but I still hold the shipment to Malaysia.

Anyway, normally if you see I spend quite alot in December because I already save my penny toward this month for the previous 5 months...takpa sesekali reward diri sendiri. ;) and be smart too!!

Review : Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadows by Eyestudio

Opsie, now I'm being extra rajin. Or I just cant help myself from reviewing this cream eyeshadows from Maybelline.

So, I bought it at Watson, quite cheap actually compared to the Luxola's price.

Okay, letme get this straight.The packaging wise is made of glass jar.  I love the colors I choosed ; Fierce and Tangy which is golden orange and Bad to Bronze ; which is taupe bronze color which is one of my favourite. I think it has 8 vibrant colors for you to choose from, if I'm not mistaken.But I only choosed two wearable colors.

I love the texture of the cream shadows. It's soft and quite easily to blend with fingers. I can use it as a based, eyeshadows or even as a liner. It stays on the lid up to 7 hours and it is not easily to be removed. So, the helps of eye makeup remover is needed.

But, one thing that I might be scared of  probably is, you know it is a cream type eyeshadows and the tendency of the eyeshadows becomes dried out is there. So, yeah. I need to be careful on that, and ensure that the cap is closed tightly after I used the product.

Review : Sephora 8 HR Mattifying Compact Foundation.

I still remember why I bought this compact foundation at Sephora , I was running out of my holygrail  Pixy Foundation. I was kinda wanted to try how this compact foundation works for my skin.

Honestly, in term of the texture. I kinda love the texture of the powder of this so called foundation. It is not stay 8 hours on my skin as its promised to do so. I used this compact as finishing powder after I applied my liquid foundation and its work great! Whereas if I use it alone, it will not stays on my skin for so long, I need to re apply and reapply it back, which I dont have much time to do especially at work. 

I must say if you like light coverage, you might love this. Its do keeps the matte finish for a decent time until the 'touch-up-time' .

I love the packaging, but I kinda hate the sponge because it is small. I prefer to use brush to apply this foundation tho.  :)

Review : Revlon Photoready Airbrush Foundation

I'm wonder what is 'air brush' comes with this foundation. It is nothing like the Dior air brush foundation or Sephora, both of that we can simply spray onto the face like the 'air brush ' technique and blend it with brush or sponge. Not really but, quite off.

Revlon Photoready Airbrush foundation, we just need to shake it then , press it. The foundation which look like a mousse type will come out from the nozel. It's kinda hard sometimes. The bottle is quite small and it last quite fast too.

However, in term of the foundation ; it is light to medium coverage with a really light feel which is good for people that do need heavy coverage.

Review MAC Studio Fix Fluid spf 15

Oh this would be my holy grail of liquid foundation to be exact. I havent yet tried a lot of liquid foundation tho, but so far this would be the best in term of medium to full coverage.

My shade is NC42. I dont choose NW shades because it tends to make my face looks yellowish, but this would be perfect for me.

Not oily, do not cause breakout is another thumb up.
But, it is quite pricey with the brand on it. I only use liquid foundation for special event, perhaps that would save me abit. Hooo nah!

Price : Rm120 or more cant recall

Okay, this is my first KVD pallete and omg, i'm really really impressed. I bought it during Sephora 20% sale for approximately (rm127.++) and i have eight, pretty, highly pigmented eyeshadows.

It comes with 8 eyeshadows,combination of :

Peanut : Light creamy beige.(metallic)

Benji : Golden bronze ( cream eyeshadow)

Rebekah : Dark brown (with gold shimmer/sparkles)

Lucifer : Black (matte)

Cholita : Dark Burgundy (with purple shimmer)

Shiba : Purple Lilac ( with grey shimmer.)

Babe : Purple (with blue shimmer)

Compact Foundation?How to Apply?

There are a lot of techniques on how to apply foundation on the net...Go google it!

1.But firstly, you must begin with well cleaned, toner and moisturised face. We don't want any dirt or bacterias mixed with foundation right?..and all the trouble pimples will definitely pop out onto your face later.

2.You can also use a face primer as a base of foundation. It's a best way to insure your make-up feel smoother and stay longer.

3.Next, hunt for the correct foundation shades (the right for you when it disappears into your skin even before you've completely blended it). .I know it's hard for some(like me). You can test it a long your jaw line (but normally we only try it on hand right?..but be patient, try it).For liquid foundation..go for 1 tone lighter than your skintone (i  only suggest this but you need to test it first whether okay or not).(normally if we (I) choose the same color with skintone..later it will oxidize and probably tend to get darker/oranged/whatnot).It happened to me when i used yellow-base liquid foundation.But..somehow..some liquid foundation tend to oxidize lighter then actual skin tone too...So, try your luck tho,find your best formula for you skin...huhu...

4. After you find your love HG compact foundation, you can definitely start to apply it: According to this:

• Apply foundation on to your face using a clean sponge or brush.
• Start at your forehead and blend down to your nose and sides. Continue to blend down to your cheeks, upper lip and chin in a downward motion.
• Always blend downwards never up because blending up can clog your pores and won't look nice.
• Blend down to your neck to make sure you don't end up with a line of makeup on the sides of your lower cheeks.

5.According to Lancome, these are the techniques they prolly used:

Overall, it's essential for you to carefully blend the foundation. Apply it  in circular motion, and spread it all over your face and make sure no patches or hard lines.Do not over apply the foundation ( 1/2 coats is enough) , otherwise it will look like a mask, cakey  and un real.lol..

Fuhh-fuhh harini pergi shopping+window shopping ke MV naik komuter..LOL..lame giler tak naik komuter..hahaha..sebab malas nak drive and cari parking punye pasal...terus naik komuter jer...walaupun sesak dengan orang...lame tak rasa tu semua..time-time study dulu..syok je naik komuter/star/putra/erl sana-sini takdahal punyer..hehhehe...sampai-sampai midvalley..terus memulakan window-window shopping....

Masuk Kiehl's..memang bertujuan untuk membeli toner..and the SA yang quite nice kat situ tuh...teruslaaa promote....toner yang sesuai untuk saya...Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner..yeaa for free alcohol..yelaa since sekarang my skin very sensitif and senang jer pimple keluar..hormone changing kot...so saya pun trylah. I also got free samples..hmmm then tanye SA tuh pasal Ultimate White exfoliater..SA tuh cakap still OOS..next week baru re-stok...then i asked her to call KLCC Kiehls...yea..yeaa ade pong! btw SA Kiehl's yang nice tu if i'm not mistaken namenye Ester..;)

All right next... pergi..usha-ushaa kat M.A.C.. okay okay... MAC Colour Craft is already out! will officially launch next week..tapi dah leh beli barang die pong skrg...Aihh tiap-tiap kali masuk MAC MV mesti bengang giler....kenapa?? okaylah masuk-masuk takde greeting ape2..well still boleh terima... cumaa tahap bengang giler datang bilaaa tengah dok test-test MAC color craft tuh tetiba ade one of the MAlay SA nyibuk test-test color...dekat aku die nak pakai gak...wtf!! hello...boleh polite skit tak???at least ade word.."excuse me!"..Damn i hate MAC Midvalley! Kesian pulak SA yang serve aku..memulaa ade gak niat nak membeli.. tapi bila tetiba sihantu tu datang lagi menyibuk..okay..then i say good bye...Grrrrrr..

To cut it short,then pergi KLCC pulak..terus pergi Kiehl's kat Isetan.. the SA kat sini lagi sangat-sangat mesra, baik okay..(name die Miss J.O tak silap)..terus membeli Ultimate White Exfoliater and dapat free samples lagi.

Then...ke MAC lagi sekali...okay pergi usha again ColourCraft..

pergi lowyat sebenarnya nak ganti keyboard lappy yang maha uzur...hahahah...sambil cuci-cuci mata...tapi...bila tanya-tanya kedai cost lebih kurang rm200...hmmm xpelaaah...kim salam je okay..so terus beli external keyboard.. alaa cap ayam je tapi kire okay gak..baru rm29..siap mouse...hahahaha okilah tuh...pastu...survey-survey notebook...hhihihihi..tak sabar nak membeli takpe-takpe tunggu gaji next month...bulan 6 ni dah over limit...hahahah...kalo lepak lowyat...memang best...ohhh...dah lama tak pergi..usha-usha barang comp..haaa haaa..banyak betul dahh aku terlambat dengan spefikasi komputer terbaru nih rupenyee...hahahaha...

12 Beauty Tips Make-Up & Cosmetics

Use these 12 free beauty tips to ensure you get the maximum benefit from your choice of make-up and cosmetics:

1. When shopping for lip color and eye shadow, put a clean sheet of white paper in your bag. New lip colors can be tested on the paper along with a strip of eye shadow. You can then examine the colors in daylight outside, away from the artificial lighting in the store.

2. Fragrance: Use two light formulas together to lock a scent in rather than a heavy application of one fragrance which can overwhelm those close to you. Using a scented body cream and then lightly spraying with an eau de toilette or parfum of the same scent will still result in a long-lasting effect.

3. Just use regular cold cream to remove oil-based makeup.

4. Make your nails seem more slender by applying a dark nail varnish down the center part of the nail being careful not to take it right to the edge of the sides of nail.

5. When testing the color of a foundation and you are already wearing a foundation, use the areas on your neck or inner arm. The skin tone in these areas matches the face more closely than the hands and a better judgment can be made.

6. To find the best spot to apply blush, smile widely, take note of where the cheek rises to a round shape. This lifted part of the cheek is the best place for blush to look natural as a flush will often color this area of the cheek.

7. For concealer to last many hours, be sure to apply it in small amounts at a time in two or three layers. This technique guarantees long wear.

8. With oily skin, avoid toners that contain alcohol as these can dry out the skin and block impurities beneath the surface. To avoid over drying the skin use toners containing AHA's. They help to smooth the skin's texture.

9. Every so often gather all the make-up you have from various places and do an analysis. Be ruthless and throw out anything over two years old, that has a musty odor, that is messy or runny, where liquids have separated, or anything that is dirty or falling apart such as sponges and brushes. By optimizing in this way you can purchase new supplies where needed and keep your make-up kit in top condition.

10. If you have oily skin, use very little moisturizer or, if possible, none at all. Too much moisturizer on oily skin can cause makeup to slide away.

11. If lip lines are a problem, apply lipstick vertically instead of horizontally.

12. When removing makeup, take a Q-tip which has been dipped in a non-oily remover and run it over the eyelashes to take off any remaining mascara.

ramainyer laa orang..itulaaa saya memang tak berapa sukaa keluar on public holiday
and gaji orang baru dapat...sesak oki...sampai-sampai dah 12.30pm...
tapi ape nak buat....hujung minggulaa baru ade cuti...kalo tak keje je jawabnye...mane ada masa.

memandangkan... saya ni memang jenis tak boleh tengok ramai orang kalo nak shoppingkan?? so jawabnye...kejap jelahh pergi shopping...or window shopping tu....

last-last...sempat makan kat Subway and sign form untuk Robinson punye member card holder..suka sket pergi are The Garden's sebab tak la berapa sesakkan??hihii....

last-last..ini sajalah..dapat di bawa pulang..oki.....2 pair of tops , new sunglass & lippy!
