REVIEW : COLOURPOP ULTRA SATIN LIP (TANSY)

Today I am going to review Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip  in (Tansy) . I like this formula better than matte formula because it is too drying on the lips but left the matte effect perfectly.

The packaging is similar to the ultra matte formula. It has highly pigmented liquidy and easily to apply on my lips.

Colour ? I kinda like this colour. It is light brownish undertone and just perfect for me. It is not too dark so I can also wear it at work.

Overall, me love!

Review : Tarteist Lip Paint ( Lovespell )

Tarteist Lip Paint is not so famous on the youtube or blog,  I dont really find people really rave about this product. But I kinda love it when I first tried it at the Sephora a few months back. So I decided to order mine about a month ago at Sephora.my and it arrived to me after almost 3 weeks. I dont know why it took so long from Singapore to Malaysia.

I actually chose a different shade.I wanted the "twerk " - the one that I tried at Sephora but in the website I wrongly chose  "lovespell" which was alil bit darker from the "twerk". Love spell is like - deep pink fushia colour. 

In term of the texture, this lip paint is not a liquidy type like normally liquid lipstick that I've tried. It is more like a creamy moussy and very pigmented texture.The formula was ultra creamy and almost whipped in consistency. It’s quite concentrated a little goes a very long way to create a gorgeous matte finish on lips with full, opaque color on a single layer.

It is also a long wearing - which mean that , after I eat food or drink the lipstick is still there on lips. I wear for several hours without fading or drying out so I’m perfectly happy with that.

Packaging? It has basic packaging with a black top and gold lettering. The simple packaging look rather extraordinary against the backdrop of gorgeous, super pigmented shades. It is also comfortable to wear, easy to apply and overall I love it!

Review : MAC Matte Lipsticks ( Mehr & Taupe )

Currently, I've been loving these two lipsticks from MAC ; Mehr and Taupe.

1. Mehr is such a beautiful mauve pink type of colour. I really love how beautiful this lipstick and it's suits my skin colour well. The texture of MAC matte lipstick is just superb to me- matte - not too dry but a bit moisturising on the lips when you applied.

2. Taupe - it is pretty brownish type of colour. It's almost the same as my natural lipcolour when I applied. The colour is quite similar to Spirit (Matte) from MAC but this one is more brownish orangey undertone. I think tt's also a perfect nude colour for people who has medium to dark skin.

Review : NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream ( Addis Ababa)

It's been ages since my last purchases of Nyx lippies. I stopped buying because I stopped being a collectors of lippies but, again i repurchase this brand and bought a few lipstick ( i dont collect them actually,i just bought them because I wanted to test/ try different formula of lipstick). I dont have numbers of smlc because i dont really like the formula. it just ok to me.


 I only have this colour to review. This NYX SLMC is not that matte compared to other liquid matte lipstick. It's more like mousy creamy type of formula abit moisturising and not drying your lips.

Staying power - it will disappered if you eat or drink. But the best part about this SLMC i love to layer this lippie on the top of non-matte lipstick to make it matte.

I bought this SLMC in sephora, you can get it easily at ig or other preorder but please be ensured it is authentic.

I chosed this color because I am loyal!Heh no ,,,I love this colour. It is red bold color not too bright and not too dark which is suitable for my skin colour and also brighten my complexion without making my teeth yellow.

I definitely love the texture of this liquid lipstick. It has light creamy texture and easily to apply. It has vanilla minty scent that did not distract me and I kinda like it. It is long wearin of cos. Dry not so quick but it doesnt feel too dry. It is long wearing and it will not melting when I eat any mee goreng or burger..which is a plus point for me.

The packing. You know how I love the balm packing which is kinda cute. I bought it for 20% off because I also bought another item. Sasa is having 10 % discount and 20% discount if you buy second items which is a great steal with a good quality of liquid lipstick.

Review : Velvet Vanity Liquid Matte Lipsticks ( Slamberry)

Lately, I cant help myself to buy different types of matte liquid lipsticks in the market. I've tried a few of them . I love the bold colour because it is so hard for me to find a good nude colour that really suit my skintones. and in my age I think, the bold colour suit me well and I feel confident everytime I wear them.

Today I am going to review:

1. Velvet Vanity Cosmetics - Liquid matte lipstick in Slamberry.

It is based in Malaysia, which I quite impressed. It comes with a box with a note when you received it. Like this :

This liquid lipstick is not that bold and not that nude. It is quite hard for me to describe the colour. It is more like a peachy,pinky nude type of color. The color turn to be a bit lighter when I wear it compared to this swatches.

I love the texture of this liquid lipstick. It's like mousy creamy type of liquid lipstick and easily to apply. It dry not that fast.. and it's long lasting. Except you need to becareful if you eat  burger or oily food, the lipstick will melting a bit  below your lips.

The packaging is sleek but I have problem with the cap. The black cap detached from the white cap. Maybe because the glue is not that strong enough to hold the cap. (-_-)

But overall, I love this liquid lipstick.

Review : Maybelline Lipcolour ( Are You Ready )

So now I'm going to review another lipcolour which is from Maybelline. It is from Colour sensation line, named  ' Are You Ready'.

It is pretty, orangey red liptick which is to love. I love the texture of the lipstick which glides smoothly on my lips when I apply it. It is also pigmented as you can tell from the photos.

It is not a long wearing liptick but I reapply it when needed.

Ohh and the packaging wise, the cap is made from plastic while the body made by metal or something.

Overall, I love it.

Review : Sephora Rouge Lipcolour ( Seduce )

This is my only matte lipstick. I'm not really a fan of matte liptick actually because it produced no shines on lips. But this lipcolour from Sephora is just okay. The colour I choose is 'seduce' which is matte off pink. It reminds me  to NYX lipstick Thalia. It is mauve pink to me, gives slightly pale colour of pink onto my lips.

It is a matte lipstick, so what you aspect. It is also reminds me to NARS lipstick. I really love the smell of this lipstick. Yes it has scent in it but not overpowering smell likes Estee Lauder's lipstick.

The staying power is not very long. It is smooth and yahh it's a nice lipstick for me to give a try (=

Review : Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment ( Petal ) spf 15

I bought this lip treatment yesterday. It was impulsive purchase but turn out very impressive. I read a good review from this brand about their lip treatment product and the SA at sephora also told me that this is one of their best selling product. I was contemplating between Urban Decay lip colour and this, seems that the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment won the battle.

This lip treatment is very moisturising with a tint  of beautiful nude colour  . It glides smoothly and stay pretty long on my lips which I loved. It reminds me of Revlon or Clinique jumbo lip pencil but this is wayyyy moisture and soft..than those.

Overall, love it!

okie to cut this short.. let's proceed with this review!

the lipstick i choose named kirsten.. it's coral peachy type of colors ..heee
pro :
* minimal shimmer, sheer lipstick.
* glossy type of lipstick.( most probably like mac lustre l/s)
* glides smoothly and does not dry my lips (which i love).
* variety colors to choose..

cons:
* notso pigmented due to it's texture... you have to swipe it several times..(i dont have prob with that! so, i'm goin to finish it fast!)...
* does not last long.


overall, it's just an average lipstick..but i still love!! it's bogof..anywayy..

Review : MAC Lustre Lipstick Lovin' It

This lipstick is part of the MAC Makeup Art Cosmetics Collection (Fall 2009).

MAC describe this as : "cool neutral with yellow undertones".

When i first saw it... omg! It's look dark brown color...but when i apply it surprisingly it's glides smoothly on my lip and gives beautiful brownish color that compliment my skintone.=)

My attempt to MAC lipstick again ... yes! say yes to Crosswire!! the texture of this lipstick is thick,pigmented and creamy .It's glides smoothly over lips,creating soft, supple texture on lips, give glossy and creamy finish... ;)

Love the color!!

As i mentioned before, the color is very similar to Way Of Love (CC Collection-Lustre) but in different finish...i didnt buy Way of Love...cos i already have Crosswire...okay enough said.
