I did my caramel sauce just now. It is inspired by niggella but i did some afew changes.
Ingredients :
1. 50g brown sugar
2. 50g caster sugar
3. 50g honey or golden syrup
4. 1 teaspoon vanilla esen
5. 75g butter
6. Salt
How to :
Melt butter, sugars , syrup and butter in a small non sticky pan and let simmer for 3 minutes, swirling every now and again.
Add cream , vanilla esen and half a teaspoon salt and swirl again, give a stir with a wooden spoon and taste – go cautiously so that you don’t burn your tongue.
If you want more salt before letting it cook for another minute on the stove, then pour into a bowl for serving.
