Basically, the purpose of this gel is to prevent from chafing and irritation of skin in intimate part, inner thigh, bikini area, under arm and breast(ops!)... and honestly i'm a lil bit skeptical before purchase this ( hello !!how on earth i'm goin to use something that to be used at the vaavaaggyynaa onto face??) ..but after google-ing here and there, i found many of beauty gurus use this as a primer so...jumped into conclusion that this thing is better be good!!ok..
Some said that, this can be comparable with Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer, with the same active ingredients which is Dimethicone(1.2%). It's actually a silicone-base, non greasy texture that creates a matte surface so makeup glides on soft and smoothly.I also like to apply this before concealer,it's really soften my fine line under my eye area.=)..owhh it's work very well as a make-up primer to me.
It's also a fragrance free, so nothing to bother with. =D
The cons part : this thing probably may clog your pore and cos breakout if you do not clean your face thoroughly..so need to be careful with that, but so far i don't experiencing that. ...too bad, it's not available in Malaysia...
Overall... i'm happy to use this as a primer...!!it's keeps my make-up stay in place all day thoo...

I've used this product for both anti-chafing/irritation (works well on underarms after shaving too) and as a primer and I just wanted to say a couple of things.
First of all, yes this is a monistat product but that doesn't mean that it is to be used down below. In fact on the package they say so. A lot of people are giving this product grief just because it's made by a feminine products company. I would really hope someone wouldn't use it to treat a yeast infection.
Second of all, this product provides protection against chafing and irritation by coating the skin but also allowing it to breathe a bit. I'm guessing it lies in what the silicones are blended with so I don't think it would clog too badly but since you're using it as a primer you're going to wash it and your makeup off anyway so no harm, no foul. It really does help your makeup stay put and your skin (everwhere you put it) very fresh throughout the day. I love it.
